The administrative court in Warsaw has overturned the environmental decision for the Turów opencast mine. This is a great success for environmental organisations, the residents of the mining-damaged town of Zittau and all those interested in a fair energy transformation of the region. The judgement is not final and can be appealed. It is an important milestone in a complex case concerning this massive undertaking.
