INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS WHOSE PERSONAL DATA MAY BE PROCESSED

The Client’s personal data are processed by the Data Controller:

a) for the purpose of taking actions related to the conclusion of a legal services agreement and for the performance of the agreement concluded with the Client, including other services provided by the Data Controller;

b) where necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest;

c) pursuant to Articles 6 and 9 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: “GDPR”).

Storage of personal data

The Client’s personal data shall be stored for the duration of the agreement and after its termination for the purpose of fulfilling legal obligations incumbent upon the Data Controller, for the period required under applicable law.

Client’s rights regarding personal data

The Client has the right to access the content of their personal data and the right to rectify, erase, restrict processing of, and transfer such data, as well as the right to object to processing, the right to withdraw consent at any time, and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if the Client believes that the processing of personal data violates the GDPR.

Recipients of personal data

Recipients of personal data may include:

a) common courts, administrative courts and arbitration tribunals, public offices and public administration authorities;

b) parties and participants to judicial, administrative, criminal and arbitration proceedings;

c) entities employed by or cooperating with the Data Controller in connection with the performance of legal services agreements, as well as other services provided by the Data Controller.

Other information regarding personal data

Personal data may be transferred to partners and substitute attorneys cooperating with the Data Controller in connection with the performance of legal services agreements and agreements concerning other services.

Providing personal data by the Client is voluntary, but necessary for the conclusion and performance of the agreement.

Providing personal data by the Client for the purpose of pursuing claims before common courts, administrative courts or arbitration tribunals is a statutory requirement, and failure to provide such personal data may result in the inability to pursue claims in such proceedings.

Personal data will not be used for automated decision-making, including profiling.

The Data Controller is not obliged to appoint a Data Protection Officer and no such Officer has been appointed.

This Privacy Policy may be periodically updated. Any changes will be visible on this website.
